Laroi Concrete Cutting was engaged by ACE Infrastructure as part of the Wye River Bridge Replacement project — an upgrade aimed at delivering a safer, more resilient bridge along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. The works involved the careful removal and reinstatement of key concrete bridge components to accommodate new structural elements and improve long-term durability.

LCC was responsible for all concrete cutting and drilling required for the controlled removal of existing bridge deck sections. Operating under tight access and time constraints, our team completed precision cutting to separate each deck component without damage to the supporting structure. Following reinstatement, we carried out asphalt cutting for road tie-ins, along with expansion and crack-control cutting to ensure smooth transitions and long-term performance of the new bridge surface.

All works were executed safely and efficiently, enabling the project to progress on schedule while meeting strict environmental and engineering standards.
